A 12-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, tendon contractures, and developmental dysplasia of the joints, who has been suffering from pain and depression, finally smiled due to improvements in his symptoms!

Khawaja Muhammad Usman, a 12-year-old handsome boy from Pakistan, suffers from cerebral palsy along with tendon contractures and developmental dysplasia of the joints, which causes pain and limits his mobility. These ailments have accompanied his growth, resulting in deformities in his elbows and wrists that affect his daily functions. He also has abnormal gait in his lower limbs, difficulties walking, intermittent use of painkillers, poor sleep at night due to pain, low mood and depression, a tendency to be reticent, and significant constipation.

Stem cell therapy for cerebral palsy has been popular worldwide for a long time. However, after Khawaja Muhammad Usman’s parents studied the Wu Medical Center's website and related information, they learned that:

1. Dr. Wu, a Ph.D. in Neuromedicine and a world-class stem cell expert, has focused on the treatment of cerebral palsy using neural stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells, as well as CAST therapy, for over 30 years. He has accumulated a large number of successful, safe and effective clinical cases, which is different from the singular stem cell treatments and surgical interventions offered by other stem cell hospitals.

2. With the accumulation of numerous clinical cases and his unique insights into stem cell therapy, Dr. Wu is continuously expanding the range and enhancing the effectiveness of using stem cells to treat refractory and stubborn diseases. Many patients with cerebral palsy who have been treated at Wu Medical Center have not only seen improvements in their cerebral palsy symptoms but also notable improvements in other conditions such as heart disease, endocrine disorders, immune diseases, orthopedic issues, among others, during their hospital stay.

3. Dr. Wu is a physician skilled in medication management; therefore, through a comprehensive approach that includes biological therapy, chemical therapy, and physical therapy, he can help patients with cerebral palsy improve their symptoms more quickly, effectively, smoothly, and sustainably, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

In order to provide the child with comprehensive improvements in his overall condition, Khawaja Muhammad Usman and his parents finally arrived at the moment to personally experience the miracle at Wu Medical Center!

After 2 weeks of hospitalization and treatment, the patient's condition showed significant improvement compared to when he was admitted.

Before treatment, he had severe restrictions in shoulder joint movement, with both elbow joints contracted and flexed at an angle of 80 degrees, accompanied by elbow dislocations and significant tenderness or pain on stretching, particularly on the right side. After treatment, the range of motion in all four limbs increased significantly and became much more flexible; both elbow joints could now be opened to about 135 degrees. Before treatment, his hands were flexed, and his fingers could not straighten; after treatment, he could easily reach the back of his head with both hands, and the flexibility of his hand movements improved significantly, with stiffness noticeably reduced. The gripping and extending function of his hands and the flexibility of his fingers improved significantly, allowing him to complete most daily activities.

Before treatment, he had limited abduction in both lower limbs, achieving only a 15-degree angle, accompanied by bilateral hip pain; after treatment, the range of motion in both hip joints increased, allowing for about a 40-degree angle of abduction, and the pain disappeared. Prior to treatment, his walking posture was obviously abnormal, with a narrow base and short strides; after treatment, his stride lengthened, the base of support widened compared to admission, and he demonstrated improved stability while walking, increased speed, extended walking distance, and enhanced endurance.

Before treatment, he often experienced pain in his head, neck, and shoulders, along with difficulty sleeping; after treatment, his pain in these areas, as well as in all joint areas of his limbs, vanished. Previously, he had to intermittently take painkillers due to joint pain, leading to poor sleep at night; after treatment, he no longer felt pain and did not require pain medication.

Before treatment, he had noticeable constipation; after treatment, his constipation also showed significant improvement.

Now, his energy and physical capacity have noticeably improved compared to before treatment.

A 12-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, who had become withdrawn, emotionally low, and depressed due to his pain, gradually experienced improvements in various physical symptoms during his two-week hospitalization and finally broke into a smile.

We will continue to monitor Khawaja Muhammad Usman's treatment, as stem cells are expected to bring him further progress and improvement!

We hope to accompany more patients like Khawaja Muhammad Usman, who suffer from cerebral palsy and developmental disorders of the bones and joints, to personally experience at Wu Medical Center the advanced treatment combining two types of stem cells with CAST, which differs from traditional medical approaches. Our goal is to improve disease symptoms, enhance motor functions, elevate their quality of life, boost their confidence in life and work, and allow them to enjoy their unique lives.
